"It's in a little enclave at Pape and Mortimer, so it's a prime location and was totally quiet," says agent Julie Kinnear, who notes there are few townhouse options in the area. "It has all the joys of condo ownership, but it's freehold."

The highlights of this particular unit was its size and style. "It had lots of space, so you could stay there a long time, and it felt exactly like a house," Ms. Kinnear said. "It showed really well … and it had a beautiful west-facing deck, which they had upgraded."
