If you everything is online these days, why do they keep sending out those bulky Yellow Pages and White Pages every year? I remember using mine as doorstops when moving; other than that, I did not touch them other than to exchange the old ones for new each year! With millions of residents in the Greater Toronto Area, that is a lot of paper. Do your part by contacting the Yellow Pages at www.yellowpages.ca and the White Pages at www.whitepages.ca to ask them to stop sending you a hard copy of the phone directories. You can do the same with any other information lists you are a part of.

I called Yellow Pages and they said that they automatically drop books on porches. I asked to be removed from their list and apparently they don’t have a “list”. She said to just recycle them. Any suggestions?
