Habitat For Humanity JKT Volunteer Dec 14 201150
The Julie Kinnear Team is so excited to be volunteering at Habitat for Humanity! We wanted to find another way to give back and we thought helping to build homes would be a great way! December 14 was our first full day!
PROJECT

Children take care of their pets.
Jen Palacios volunteers every year with The Northern Dog Project who are working to help with the over-population of dogs in the Northern Cree communities near James Bay. A team of vets and technicians are flown in to spay and neuter the pets, and any strays they are able to catch. The Project also goes into the schools to educate the children on proper health care for their pets, and proper treatment.

Nessy and Suki
Here is a picture of Oscar when he was picked up to be brought to Toronto. Oscar had been tied behind a house and lived under their stairs for years. The owners no longer wanted him, so gave him up to be sent 'south'. He looks much friendlier now that Jen has adopted him and given him the best home along side her other James Bay rescue Nessy.
THE RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER
The whole team participated in the Ride To Conquer Cancer in 2009. Since then Holly & Julie have carried on the tradition annually of raising $ and riding our bikes over 200km's on a June weekend to benefit PMH - where Julie was treated and is now a proud 10 year survivor. Thank you for your continued support & donations! FYI - www.conquercancer.ca (click Ontario) then click donate and then type Juile Kinnear.
