(April 2001 - June 2011)

Julie Kinnear was born in Vancouver, BC. She grew up in the Lawrence Park area of Toronto. She attended Carleton University, in Ottawa, Ontario. Previous to real estate, Julie was a multiple award winner with College Pro Painters for 5 years as a Franchisee in Ottawa, and in Toronto as a Field Advisor and General Manager. Cancer survivor since October 2000. 

She loves to downhill ski, ride her road bike, snowshoe and swim. She has been an active Fundraiser including The Ride To Conquer Cancer for several years. Julie grew up loving overnight camp - and attended Camp Oconto as camper & staff for 14 years!

Mickey, Murphy, Scooter & Scouty 

The two rare cats are the most exotic Christmas gift Julie & Mary ever received: the two Cornish Rexes arrived in 2003 - that is Scout (mostly grey) and Scooter (mostly white). There is a very happy co-existence with their beloved dogs Mickey and Murphy.  Scouty, the very special boy passed in October of 2017. 

Julie owns a home with her partner Mary Palacios in High Park, just west of Roncesvalles, and bought her first house in 1995. She has owned houses, investment properties and a condo. Mary and Julie feel very fortunate to own a wonderful cottage in the Haliburton Highlands where they can get away year round. As a homeowner, Julie can relate closely to the decision making involved in real estate transactions. She loves her work as a Toronto realtor.

    I am a current Guelph resident and I am looking to move into Toronto. I have family in the area and would be looking to move to that specific area. My family lives in this this area. North border: Dundas, east border: Pape, west border: Broadview and south border: Eastern. My family says that it is a great are to live, but I would like you to give me your opinion. Could you please tell me a little about the area (if there is any “stories” about this area) and if it is a safe place to live. Also, what kind of housing is prodominantly in this area.     1. Hi Mat, If you go back onto our website and look under Neighbourhoods. Click on Leslieville and Riverdale. We update these regularly and you will find a lot of helpful information.
