At Chai, the focus is on the food, not trendy decor. All dishes are prepared in-house, with an emphasis on healthy dishes. I tend to always gravitate toward the combo display, where I can drool over the dishes offered before making my choices for $4.95 (one item), $5.95 (two items), $6.95 (three items), or $7.50 (four items). You can choose between a garden salad with mango dressing, Caesar salad, Asian greens (bok choy or broccoli), tofu in black bean or curry basil sauce, roasted eggplant or zucchini in olive oil, mixed bean salad, veggie or chicken dumplings, soba noodles, spicy Oriental noodles, and seasonal items.

Hollywood Gelato is where it's at! Family friendy, delicious, and most importantly, a good price. For $4.95 (tax included) you get a giiiiiant serving (this is only the regular size!) with three flavor choices. Best deal you can get compared to other gelato places which can be well over $5 leaving you craving more. I've yet to taste a flavour I don't like!

Looking for a good neighbourhood pub in Leaside where everyone knows your name well McSorleys is the place to go. The outside patio is always packed with friends/work colleagues and families sharing a pint while eating apps! They have an extensive menu featuring pretty much anything you are looking for. If you have a peanut allergy well I would say you pass as there are barrels of peanuts throughout for everyone to snack. A popular place to watch a hockey, baseball or golf game.

A new Mexican grill franchise moved into Leaside, in the same plaza where the new Longos is. I have never been to a Mucho Burrito and I was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were fresh, the burrito was tasty. The staff were very pleasant and helpful - giving me advise on my burrito choices. Overall a great experience.

A neighbourhood favourite that the whole family can enjoy. The food is casual but great! The servers are always upbeat and happy to strike up a convo! If you are looking to hang out with friends and can't find a sitter for the kids the upstairs has a fun game room with lots of candy prizes.

This Pan-Asian cuisine restaurant is great! They recently renovated and it is comfortable and classic. The menu is extensive with lots of options, including gluten-free. I have had the taster menu twice, which was fantastic. For a fixed price you can order whatever you like from the taster menu. The servings are a little smaller so you can get a sense of the dish, but still leaving room for other dishes to try!

Great Thai food. Quick and delicious lunch specials. In the summer, enjoy your meal on the outdoor patio. They also have a restaurant on Avenue Rd. south of Wilson.

The Bagel House has Montreal style Bagels!! Crafted by a pair of ex-Montrealers, the bagels are now available 24 hours a day at Bagel House's second location on Avenue Road.

The mad Italian on Bayview has some of the best gelato in town with unique flavours daily. Their new Zazzu cones come in 15 different succulent flavours my favourite is the Prosciutto and Mushroom yummo!!! They have a full liquor license if you want to have a brewsky on the patio while your kids enjoy a cone!

One of my favourite Italian restaurants in Leaside that I frequent often. The waiters provide great service and always knowledgeable of what wine to pair with your food. The pasta is my favourite, the veal is excellent and they always have new fresh specials that are mouth watering. The ambiance is romantic inside and casual outside. Perfect for catching up with friends or date night!
