Recently I worked with Jay Banks on the purchase of my first home in Toronto. I feel I hit the jackpot when I happened to call Jay to inquire about a listing. He walked me through the process of purchasing a home in the challenging market in Toronto, explained some of the strategies we might use to get the best deal, and how I should set myself up to be a competitive buyer. As we reviewed listings and visited properties he gave me advice and guidance on areas and neighbourhoods and characteristics which may make a particular property a good purchase. When I was ready to make an offer, he was strategic in how best to present to get an acceptance, and then in negotiating terms to my benefit. Overall he was fun to work with and highly professional. I recommend Jay very highly to anyone seeking to buy or sell a home in the GTA.
