The Rooster (coffee house) – located on Broadview Ave. between Riverdale Ave. and Withrow Ave.

This new coffee house rivals the “Riverdale Perk” in it’s neighbourhood appeal. The coffee and treats are both upmarket and delectable. The decor is shabby-sheik – with vintage books and board games, harvest tables and retro memorabilia. The vibe is funky and unpretentious. One of the coffee servers even draws artistic pictures with whip cream in your hot chocolate! Doggie treats and water bowls are located outside on the front patio. 4.5 stars
