Fun fact: The farthest planet from the Sun used to be Pluto. It did not disappear, so what happened? In 2006 the researchers in the International Astronomical Union (IAU) voted to reclassify Pluto, changing its status from a planet to a dwarf planet. The farthest planet from the Sun thus became Neptune, although the cosmic bodies haven't changed at all.
