JKT’s Favourite Things Friday – Old Toronto Historical Find

Jay's Friday Favourite and a tip for a stroll: "Walking in Toronto’s West End Junction Neighbourhood, I came upon Toronto’s oldest existing synagogue on Maria Street – Congregation Knesseth Israel. Nestled on a quiet street, it is more commonly known as the Junction Shul. Completed in 1913, built for $500. A wonderful piece of architecture. An old Toronto historical find and an Ontario Heritage designated site."
