The Hospital for Sick Children, familiarly known as SickKids, is a health-care community dedicated to improving the health of children. Their mission is to provide the best family-centred, compassionate care, to lead in scientific and clinical advancement, and to prepare the next generation of leaders in child health.

With the main vision, "Healthier Children. A Better World." in mind, SickKids organize a farmers' market to supply their community with good, healthy, local, and ethical food.

Coming to life every Tuesday morning on the driveway of the Hospital, this farmers' market offers a variety of items, like fruits and vegetables, herbs, honey, cheese, meats, and baked goods. What’s more, hospital staff, patients, and University Avenue pedestrians can enjoy the local produce even in winter months when the market moves inside.

So visit the SickKids farmers' market on Tuesdays, pick up a tasty snack or some fresh dinner ingredients, and don't forget to make a donation to the hospital on your way out!
