Photo Essay: Toronto Pride 2016 Festivities

Canada's first ever Pride Month, which started on June 1st, culminated last weekend with the Dyke March on Saturday and the Pride Parade on Sunday. Even though it was also Canada Day long weekend, Toronto was full of people. There were visitors from all over the world, who came to Toronto to experience something that is so very typical for our diverse city, but so very different from their own hometowns.

So for those of you who escaped the traffic jams, crowds and partying all day and night and went for a less crowded weekend to your cottage or anywhere else out of town, we've prepared a photo essay of the Parade weekend.

It was colourful, it was cheerful, it was happy and it was proud. But most importantly, there was love all around. See for yourself!

Oh, and the Prime Minister was there as well. Look how happy he looks!
