Toronto Pride Parade 2019: Stonewall Riots’ 50th Anniversary

This June marked the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in NYC. Since then, LGBTQ+ movements around the world (including Toronto!) have grown, celebrating the fundamental truth that Love is Love.

Marsha P Johnson was an African American trans woman and a revolutionary who instigated the Stonewall Riots in 1969. She was an incredible woman known for her eclectic style, and her bold fearless leadership. She changed the world, and made it a little easier for everyone in this community to take up space.

We feel blessed to live in a city like Toronto that is diverse and inclusive and Toronto Pride Parade was no different - we were out and proud with love all around!
