Lively West End location!

Such a convenient Toronto location between Davenport and St Clair West, easy access to The Junction, the Junction Triangle, Regal Heights, Annex, High Park & Roncesvalles.

Corso Italia centres around St. Clair West and is part of the Carleton Village neighbourhood which was historically designated by the City of Toronto in 1989. The streets are marked by wrought-iron lampposts with an authentic old-world feel.

The sellers have really loved living here! You will too! In their own words:

"Our neighbourhood is full of families of all kinds and sizes, from parents with young children to seniors who have lived here for over fifty years.

The neighbourhood is richly diverse, with an obvious Italian heritage, so offers amazing places to enjoy different cultures and flavours - from Tre Mari Bakery's annual salami festival in the laneway behind our home, to Brazilfest in Earlscourt Park, to one of Toronto's best Portuguese restaurants Mercado Nero, this neighbourhood offers a chance to enjoy Toronto for the diversity that has made it famous.

Desoto's on St. Clair West has been a regular dining spot for us for 10+ years now. They know our kids' names and orders :)

Can't believe that I haven't mentioned the ***BEST GELATO!!! yet at La Paloma, right next to the JJP Community Centre.

The neighbourhood also has excellent community infrastructure. With easy walking distance to both Joseph J. Piccininni and Wallace-Emerson Community Centre, we've had great experiences learning to swim, skate and dance while also finding easy and fun summer day-camp options for our kids.

Earlscourt Park has a brand new playground installed, a full track, multiple soccer fields and a well-loved gazebo and field that is often home to drumming circles, yoga classes and live opera (of course!).

Nearby Geary Avenue has lots of little amazing studios, shops and restaurants to explore, including Parallel for the best hummus you can find anywhere in the city.

Nearby Prospect Cemetery and the Green Mile trail are also perfect for peaceful walks.

Regal Road Public School has been a wonderful place for our daughter to begin her education, with a committed and caring Parents' Council and faculty who work together to create a rich, friendly and caring place for all kids and parents to learn together.

Our home is within easy walking distance of other great Toronto neighbourhoods, giving us lots of dates in the Junction and Junction Triangle, where we'd play pinball and watch Jays games at a local pub, go book shopping at Type and Pandemonium, and find some of the best Thai, sushi and Mexican food the city has to offer. In the summertime, nearby Bloorcourt and Rushton Village come alive with some of the city's biggest street festivals, Salsa on St. Clair and Big On Bloor. Located right on the St. Clair streetcar line, we're a 15-minute ride to the University subway line, or taking a bus down Lansdowne, a 10-minute ride to the Bloor line. Easy big box shopping is also nearby in the Stockyards Shopping District.

Our semi is attached to a house divided into three apartments, home to quiet young men, including a librarian, a music teacher and a tradesman. Other neighbours include a friendly retired couple in the detached home to our north, a young family with two kids under 5 two doors south, and the "nona" across the street with whom we swap tomato plants in the spring, and share our gardens' harvest in the fall."

The nearby previous Galleria Mall lands are undergoing an exciting massive transformation. It will soon be replaced by Galleria on the Park, a sprawling master-planned community by developer Elad Canada. It will comprehensively redevelop the current site into a mixed-use, high-density community with high walkability, robust retail and public spaces with a focus on a holistic design framework. It includes a larger park and a new Wallace Emerson Community Centre, double the size of the existing centre. Taking community feedback into consideration, the design has evolved accordingly.
