Pride Week is a 10-day arts and culture festival that celebrates diverse sexual and gender identities, and the lives of Toronto's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, queer and questioning communities.
The Pride Parade (July 1 @ 2:00 pm) always features numerous floats, marching groups, music and lots of dancing by community organizations, businesses and groups. After the parade, floats and groups will be awarded on a series of categories, such as Best Costume Design, Best Drag and more. Its a celebration of the of diversity and life in Toronto while encouraging tolerance and acceptance.
