Some buyers had bigger ideas in line with four- and five-bedroom homes nearby. "The lot size was so large, it would handle a second story and more square-footage," adds Ms. Kinnear, who enjoyed her childhood in the area.
"It's an amazing place to grow up with spectacular public schools and sports for kids. It's an extremely family-oriented neighbourhood."
