3 stars for the delicious eccles cakes. They also have oversize morning-glory type muffins that seem like they would feed a family of four but I manage to eat one by myself.
I have not taken advantage of the deli offerings but it certainly appears to offer interesting german/european goods.

Grumbles is probably the only place in Toronto where I can assuage my cravings for haggis and rum balls at the same time. A wide selection of traditional deli fare in a swank old world ambience. Very friendly service, and open long hours.

Toronto’s BEST KEPT Secret! I literally and accidently stumbled upon Grumbles this afternoon! When I opened the door I felt like I went back in time! Couldn’t leave without their amazing chocolate chip cookies, butter tarts and spicy beef sausage! I’ll be back this weekend for team with my mum! 100% recommend!
