Hey Toronto, get ready for the Community Environment Day on April 28, 2018 on Wabash Avenue by Sorauren Park, starting at 10:00am!
Let's make the world a better place! Bring your used or unwanted household items to the event and learn how to properly recycle and dispose of waste items. You can bring:
- old cell phones,
- small electronics,
- printers and fax machines,
- fluoroscent bulbs,
- computer components,
- small TVs,
- unused medications,
- oils, solvents, pesticides
- propane tanks
- batteries
- household hazardous waste
You can also bring unwanted househould items to donate for reuse, such as:
- yarn, knitting needles, sewing materials
- books (excluding school/university curriculum books)
- costume jewellery including broken watches
- corks, cork boards, clip boards
- dress up clothing
- sporting goods
- eyeglasses, walking aids, hearing aids
- kitchen utensils, dishes
- games, ornaments
- textiles in good condition - clothes, linens
- non-perishable foods
