Can’t believe we’re into the home stretch of the end of summer! Here at the JKT we are counting our blessings that our weather has been relatively moderate compared to so many places in Canada and around the world suffering with extreme weather, wildfires and emergencies etc.
Hope you’re enjoying the heat wave here in Toronto! Fortunately we’re getting some rain at night as the gardens are so dried out! So many people are doing so much good and it's just a small token of our appreciation to spend some time helping out those in need. My Ride to Conquer Cancer team and Proud Marie's group that I've been captain for 15 years is incredibly rewarding and exciting. Our team this year raised a whopping $169,794!

Happy December! Hope you’re enjoying the relatively mild weather and excitement leading up to the Holidays. The JKT is doing well - we are thrilled about volunteering for the first time in person since 2019 at Daily Bread Food Bank. We had lots of excited compliments on the Movie Matinee client event - one of our few in person events since Covid - watching flicks on the big screen is still such a thrill.

Greetings! Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving! What a magical time of year. The leaves are just gorgeous changing in the city and certainly anywhere north. I am currently looking forward to Halloween as well, as my brother Alec and his partner Lucia are arriving from Kittsee, Austria in time for trick or treating. It has been a long time since Brenda & I last visited in Nov 2019, and the youngest Aurelién was not even born yet.

As the new year unfolded, we have been pleasantly and a little surprised that the market in January and February got off to such a healthy start.
Our team received the wonderful announcement that we had once again landed successfully near the top of the Chairman's Club.
So far, we have continued to have the shortage of listings and buyers have had to compete for many properties. It's more fun for sellers right now!
As you likely already know, the real estate market has taken quite an odd turn this year, as the summer market replaced the traditional booming spring market.
Buyers are feeling the most frustrated again, as the market has shifted back to a seller's market with a lack of inventory.
The market has completely changed and improved in the past month. The low prime rate went even lower to 2.25% and buyers are taking advantage.
